New artists to listen to this week
We’re back, introducing you to the best new artists that we’re listening to this week. We’ve selected a mix of big beat bands and genre-breaking upcoming artists – check out the playlist below, or listen here.
Three-piece Noisy live up to their name – they’re a hybrid of rapping, hooks, beats and escapism. They released their latest single, OI (ATM), in March – the track is a tongue-in-cheek look at the mundane things we have to pay for in life.

Indie-pop, four-piece, lostboy, relocated to Sheffield and have been blowing up the indie scene there, playing Tramlines and Y Not Festival last year. Combining guitar riffs and big beats, they released their latest single, Potluck, in March.

Irish duo Blondmodel combine chilled beats with synths and mellow vocals, lending a summer vibe to their sound. They dropped a new track last week, I Just Want To Feel Something, which has a more sombre feel than their usual stuff.

20 year-old drill artist, DigDat, has a more technical lyrical flow in his music than what is standard for the genre. He released his debut studio album, Ei8ht Mile, in January which features collaborations with K Trap, D-Block Europe, Tee Grizzley, Aitch and more.

Hope Tala combines bossa nova and R&B to create her own unique sound. She wrote two EPs, Starry Ache and Sensitive Soul, whilst studying for her English Literature degree at University (and achieving a first). She released the latter last August, which explores romance, drawing inspiration from some of her favourite writers.

Irish drummer, producer and rapper, Alex Gough, combines hip-hop and jazz to create his distinctive sound. He says his latest single, FOOL, was ‘a spontaneous creation, sparked while scrolling through different plug-ins and sample packs’.
