We’re back, rounding up our favourite new and upcoming artists that we think you should be hearing this week. This week’s selection includes, London MC Jadasea, ten-piece pop-funk ensemble Toucan and sweet sounding singer-songwriter April. Check out the playlist below or here – it’s updated weekly with new artists and tracks.

Irish folk singer-songwriter, Sorcha Richardson, hails from Dublin. She released her first EP in 2012 and her long-awaited her debut album, First Prize Bravery, last year – it was nominated for the Choice Music Prize.

London MC and producer Jadasea released his EP, half-life, last year – produced by King Krule's Edgar the Beatmaker. The mellow EP features gritty lo-fi sounds, down-tuned guitar and synth.

20 year old Irish singer April started writing music at the age of 10. Her influences include Lana Del Rey and King Princess, as well as classic jazz and ‘90s hip-hop. She supported Alec Benjamin on his 2019 European tour and released her EP, New Conditions, last week.

Ten-piece ensemble, Toucan, blend contagious beats, electric guitars, heavy brass, and feel-good funk, soul and pop. They released their latest EP, So Easy to Love You, in November.

South-London MC, Pinty, has carved his own unique sound mixing together electric toe-tapping beats, poetry and club and house music. He released his latest EP, Midnight Moods, at the end of April.

Liverpudlian indie singer, Zuzu, is influenced by her hometown’s rich music history. Her loud, hook-centric, indie-pop music features catchy lyrics and guitar riffs. She released her EP, How It Feels, last month.
