We search for the best new and upcoming artists for you to hear each week and update our new artists playlist with new tracks. This week we’ve added Irish poet and performer Sinead O’Brien, alt-pop/neo-soul singer FELIVAND and more. Find out more about these artists, watch their music videos and listen to the playlist below.

Sinead O'Brien is influenced by Patti Smith and The Slits, along with literary icons Frank O’Hara, W.B. Yeats, Joan Didion and Albert Camus. She fuses spoken lyrics and art rock to create her unique sound. She released her latest EP, Drowning in Blessings, last week. You can catch her live at The Shipping Forecast in March.

Brisbane alt-pop/neo-soul producer, multi-instrumentalist and singer, FELIVAND, creates warm and soulful tunes. She released her latest single, Trajectory, in August, which combines smooth neo-soul with bedroom-pop.

Totnes-based Hearing Aid Beige takes elements of ‘60s rock to create their modern sound, which ranges from Brian Wilson-esque confessionals with nods to the past, to laid back indie pop influenced by the likes of Mac Demarco and Andy Shauf. They dropped their latest EP, Isn’t It Nice, in July.

South-East London band SCORS return after a three year hiatus. They dropped their latest track, You and I Get Along, this month after rereleasing an updated version of their single, E The Real You, in July. They describe their sound as ‘subsonic slinky jangle jazz’.

19-year-old R&B singer and songwriter Divine Lightbody hails from Toronto. She’s inspired by the likes of Lauryn Hill and Nina Simone. She released her latest track, Bothered, in May.
