Planet Earth: A Celebration

Planet Earth: A Celebration sees David Attenborough, Hans Zimmer and Dave unite for the special Natural History event. The special one-hour programme will bring together eight of the most extraordinary sequences from Planet Earth II and Blue Planet II, including racer snakes vs iguana, surfing bottlenose dolphins and rare footage of the Himalayan snow leopard.

The special programme will feature new narration from David Attenborough, new compositions and arrangements from Hans Zimmer, Jacob Shea and the team at Bleeding Fingers and performed by the BBC Concert Orchestra, accompanied by Brit and Mercury Award-winning UK rapper Dave.

How can I watch Planet Earth: A Celebration?

Planet Earth: A Celebration will air at 8pm on Monday 31 August on BBC One, it will also be available to stream on BBC iPlayer after it airs.

In these extraordinary times, there is one thing that can offer solace to everyone – the wonder of the natural world.

You can experience the magic of the Planet Earth II series again at Planet Earth II Live In Concert. The tour will be hosted by Liz Bonnin, with the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Matthew Freeman playing the remarkable music by Oscar winner Hans Zimmer, Jacob Shea and Jasha Klebe for Bleeding Fingers Music.
