It’s time to think about Drive-in home for Christmas as The Luna Cinema launches The Luna Drive-In Winter Cinema series.
Back with a brand-new programme in 2021, they’ll be showing a host of classics like Love Actually, Home Alone, It's A Wonderful Life, Die Hard, The Gruffalo, Elf, The Greatest Showman and Frozen. The Luna Cinema will encompass both a Drive-In Cinema experience and indoor festive screenings as part of The Luna Winter Cinema for the first time ever.

The Luna Drive In Locations
As soon as you enter one of this year’s Luna Drive-In Winter Cinema locations, you will be surrounded by magic. A tunnel of sparkling lights leading the way to your parking space, the Luna Drive In will call two locations home this winter — a brand-new venue at Brands Hatch Circuit in Kent and a previous Luna favourite, NEC, Birmingham.
After a sell-out season in 2020, Drive In cinema will return to Birmingham NEC - the UK’s number one venue with decades of epic events under its belt. Having hosted the likes of David Bowie and Eurovision in the past, it’s now set to welcome back The Luna Drive-In Cinema for the third time.
And, new for 2021, Brands Hatch Circuit in Kent is now home to Luna’s Drive-In cinema for the very first time!
A location that has hosted racing legends including Stirling Moss, Jenson Button and Nigel Mansell and more, will now invite car fanatics, supercar fans and of course movie fans to embark on an epic festival Christmas Drive-In run.

A standard ticket a Luna Winter Cinema event grants you seated access to one of Luna’s unmissable drive in experiences. Featuring a bespoke one-of-a-kind sound system, which means each car has its own personal wireless speaker so viewers can hear the film in amazing cinematic quality digital sound.

More about The Luna Cinema
Founded back in 2008 by George Wood, with a showing of Some Like It Hot at Dulwich Park in South London, The Luna Cinema has grown to become the UK’s largest producer of outdoor cinema events. As of 2021, the group showcases over a hundred film screenings in more than 50 UK locations.
Luna traditionally specialises in the outdoor, communal cinema experiences and in addition to multiple branches of The Luna Cinema, including The Luna Winter Drive-In, The Luna Winter Cinema, The Luna Beach Cinema and Luna Kids, the team also created FriendsFest, a touring event celebrating the TV show “Friends”.
