Returning to their favourite venues and adding a few brand new ones, The Luna Cinema’s 2021 series is currently taking place at over more than 50 UK sites for a blockbuster summer of iconic and unmissable movies.
Complete with a fully stocked bar, a great food menu and plenty of delicious snacks to share, screenings follow a simple formula: a showing of a classic film on a state-of-the-art HD big screen plus cinema quality sound, all with the added magic of being under the stars.
From city parks to country manor houses, theatres and more, The Luna Cinema’s settings are home to over 175 film screenings this year, including a host of classic reruns from the ‘60s, ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s, as well as award-winning cinematic hits and upcoming blockbusters.

More about The Luna Cinema
Founded back in 2008 by George Wood, with a showing of Some Like It Hot at Dulwich Park in South London, The Luna Cinema has grown to become the UK’s largest producer of outdoor cinema events. As of 2021, the group showcases over a hundred film screenings in more than 50 UK locations.
Luna traditionally specialises in the outdoor, communal cinema experiences and in addition to multiple branches of The Luna Cinema, including The Luna Beach Cinema, Luna Kids and The Luna Drive-in, the team also created FriendsFest, a touring event celebrating the TV show “Friends”.

Location capacity ranges from 300 to 3000. Each location offers a fully stocked bar and an extensive food menu full of retro snacks to enjoy with the movie. These can be ordered via your mobile phone for click and collect when ready service!
Ticket holders can also pre-order a Luna hamper, jam-packed with tasty cinema treats.
